Refund policy
At Retro Desk Studio, we curate unique hardware, limited-run keycap sets, and premium workspace aesthetics to help you design your perfect setup. Because many of our design pieces are highly compatibility-specific, all sales are final once an order enters fulfillment.
We want you to absolutely love your workspace upgrade, so we highly encourage verifying your layout size, switch styles, and device measurements prior to checkout. By finalizing your purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Compatibility & Selection
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds for change-of-mind, buyer's remorse, or layout incompatibility. We also do not support "bracket buying" (purchasing multiple variants to test in person). Please carefully review the dimensions, profiles, and technical requirements listed on each product page before completing your order to ensure a perfect fit.
2. Return Shipping & Restocking
In the rare event that a return is authorized or legally required (such as under the EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period), the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Additionally, authorized returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover meticulous inspection, repackaging, and administrative processing. This fee will be deducted from your final refund. Original shipping fees are strictly non-refundable.
3. Damage, Defect, or Order Discrepancies
We hold our curation to high standards and want your setup to arrive in perfect condition. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact our support team at customerservice@retrodeskstudio.com within 7 days of delivery so we can review your case for a replacement or store credit.

Mandatory Documentation: Your email must include your order number, clear and unedited photographs of the issue, and a clear photo of the shipping label on the original packaging.

Important Terms: We cannot process damage claims without clear photographic evidence. Modifying, installing, or using the items immediately voids any claims of arrival damage.
4. Cancellation Policy
To get your gear to you as quickly as possible, our fulfillment system is fully automated. The moment your payment clears, your order data is instantly transmitted to our partner fulfillment studios for dispatch. Because of this speed, orders cannot be modified, changed, or canceled once placed.
5. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason under EU statutory law. To be eligible, your item must be in the exact same condition that you received it: completely unused, with tags, and in its original packaging along with your proof of purchase. As noted in Section 2, return shipping costs and the 15% restocking fee apply to these returns. To initiate an EU statutory return, please contact us at customerservice@retrodeskstudio.com.
