Refund Policy
At RetroDeskStudio, we curate keyboard accessories, keycap sets, mechanical keyboards, artisan keycaps, desk accessories, and setup tools for customers who want a more personalized workspace.
Because many of our products are compatibility-specific, we encourage customers to review product details carefully before ordering. Please check layout size, switch compatibility, product dimensions, language layout, and device requirements before completing checkout. If you are unsure whether a product will fit your setup, contact us before purchase at customerservice@retrodeskstudio.com and we will do our best to help you confirm compatibility.
1. Change of Mind, Incorrect Selection, and Compatibility
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind, buyer’s remorse, incorrect product selection, incorrect layout selection, or incompatibility when the item received matches the product listing.
This includes, but is not limited to:

ordering the wrong keyboard layout

choosing the wrong keycap profile
-
selecting the wrong language layout
-
ordering an item that does not fit your keyboard, desk, device, or setup

purchasing multiple variants to test in person

2. Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Significantly Not as Described Items
We fully support customers when an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or significantly not as described.
If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at customerservice@retrodeskstudio.comwith:

your order number
-
clear photos of the item
-
clear photos of the packaging and shipping label
-
a short description of the issue
Items that are significantly not as described, including the wrong product, wrong color, wrong variant, or a materially different item from the product listing, may be eligible for a replacement, refund, or other resolution at no cost to the customer.
Please inspect your order before installing, modifying, building with, or using the item. Items that have been installed, modified, damaged after delivery, or used in a way that prevents inspection may not be eligible for an arrival damage claim.
3. Authorized Returns
Returns must be approved by our support team before being sent back. Please do not return items without contacting us first.
To be eligible for an approved return, items must be unused, uninstalled, in their original condition, and returned with all original packaging and accessories where applicable.
If a return is approved for a reason other than damaged, defective, incorrect, or significantly not as described, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs. Authorized change-of-mind returns, if accepted, may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item arrived damaged, defective, incorrect, or significantly not as described.
Returns sent without approval may not be accepted.
4. Order Cancellations and Changes
Orders are processed quickly through our fulfillment system. If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at customerservice@retrodeskstudio.com.
We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled after it has been placed, especially if it has already entered fulfillment or shipment processing. Please double-check your shipping address, product selection, layout, color, and quantity before completing checkout.
5. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days under EU consumer law.
To be eligible, the item must be unused, unopened, in its original condition, and returned with all original packaging and accessories where applicable. Return shipping costs may be the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged, defective, incorrect, or significantly not as described.
